Karate Kid: Legends
In conversation with Entertainment Weekly, director Jonathan Entwistle confirmed Karate Kid: Legends does tie-in to Cobra Kai in some fashion.
I have been a huge fan of Cobra Kai right from the beginning, and that’s one of the reasons that I thought this was such an exciting project. I was excited about the idea that the films and the series can all be part of one family. I’ve had some really detailed conversations with the Cobra Kai team about just cool stuff that we can do in the movie and can make this whole thing feel holistic. And obviously, Ralph is really, really close to it after all those years on Cobra Kai, and they’ve been involved in little steps along the way. Everything we talked about made it into the movie in some way or other, either through Ralph or through the conversations. We’re really excited that we’ve added another piece to the overall universe.
That said– Cobra Kai‘s Martin Kove confirmed Kreese does not appear in Karate Kid: Legends while appearing as a guest on Kyle Meredith With…
It’s kept under wraps pretty well. I haven’t talked to Ralph about it; I will […] Ralph went off for about 10 days, did it, and that was it. None of us [Cobra Kai cast members] were invited to come and play. When they don’t invite me, it’s okay, because I know why: They’re inviting trouble.

The Monkey
Entertainment Weekly has three new images from Oz Perkin’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Monkey.
Squid Game
Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk admitted he’s “so sick of Squid Game” during a recent interview with Variety.
I’m so exhausted. I’m so tired. In a way, I have to say, I’m so sick of Squid Game. I’m so sick of my life making something, promoting something. So I’m not thinking about my next project right now. I’m just thinking about going to some remote island and having my own free time without any phone calls from Netflix. Not the Squid Game island.
