Hormel Just Released a Black Label Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon — Here’ Where to Find It

Sure, you’ve probably had a slice of bacon with a bowl of cereal before — but have you had cereal on your bacon? If not, you’re in luck.

Hormel, the Minessota-based food giant behind your favorite canned meats, is launching a new product that combines its Black Label Bacon with General Mills’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal to create a sweet-and-salty combo unlike anything you’ve had before. To make the limited-edition product, Cinnadust (yes, that’s the official term) is hand-rubbed onto thick-cut bacon, which is left overnight to reach “optimal flavor.”

The result is bacon with a crisp, sugary crust with flavors of cinnamon, sugar, salt, and, of course, bacon. Think of it sort of like Millionaire’s Bacon, if that millionaire happened to be Chef Wendell from the Cinnamon Toast Crunch box (R.I.P). And while the flavor profile might be a new one for many of us, Hormel describes the combination as “iconic.”

“It doesn’t get more iconic than Normal Black Label Bacon and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, so we went big with our first-ever co-branded bacon product,” said Aly Sill, senior brand manager for Hormel Black Label Bacon. “We’re excited to bring fans a bacon that is packed with flavor and blasted with Cinnadust seasoning blend for any eating occasion.”

Hormel’s Black Label Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon will be available to select Walmart locations starting September 16.

It was also an easy sell for Cinnamon Toast Crunch: “Sweet and savory is such a classic combination, and blasting Black Label bacon with our Cinnadust seasoning blend is a no-brainer to deliver the epic flavor our fans love in even more ways,” said Brandon Tyrrell, senior marketing manager for Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, in a statement provided to Food & Wine

If you want to get a taste of that “blasted” bacon, you’ll be able to snag a package starting September 16 at select Walmart locations. The brand also plans to make it available at select Kroger stores while supplies last.

And if you’re already thinking about ways to enjoy that bacon, Hormel has some ideas. The bacon maker has already posted a “breakfast that packs a punch” in the form of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored thick-cut bacon, peanut butter, and banana sandwich, just like Elvis used to enjoy.

Hormel says that the treat — a fully acceptable adult meal — blends sweet, salty, and savory flavors together in a way that’s perfect for kicking your day off. It also suggests enjoying a few slices along with some classic French toast or used to kick a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls up a notch — or several — by wrapping a slice of bacon inside them. Yes, please.

That Cinnadusted bacon also isn’t the only unique bacon experience we will likely have in the future. Hormel says it “will continue to bring fans the unexpected with more delicious partnerships and limited-time products in 2025 and beyond.”

Could we see bacon dusted with another cereal? Or has Flamin’ Hot Cheetos’ bacon time finally arrived? Only time will tell.
