Hidden Valley Ranch Drops 7 New Sauces and Seasonings

There’s so much to love about ranch — it’s creamy, tangy, and versatile, for starters. This rich and down-to-earth condiment is enough to touch any stereotypical Midwesterner’s heart, myself included. Sometimes, though, I must admit that the buttermilk dip does get a bit boring. 

Fortunately, Hidden Valley Ranch is spicing things up with five new sauces and two seasonings to its lineup this spring — and each one promises to provide a fresh take on the classic condiment. From a smoked chipotle dip to a garlic-forward sauce, this may be ranch like we’ve never experienced before. Additionally, there’s a burst of flavor coming for those who can’t live without this tangy condiment 

As for the new products, here’s everything we know: First up is the oh-so-polarizing Blue Cheese Ranch, which the brand calls the “ultimate condiment for wing dipping.” (We’ll let you be the judge.) Meanwhile, a smoky Cajun Blackened Ranch joins the lineup to accompany all your air-fried chicken nuggets, while Cilantro Lime Ranch adds a touch of creamy Midwestern charm to Tex-Mex staples. The new Cracked Pepper Ranch reads a bit more upscale, while Sweet BBQ Ranch somehow combines two top condiments into one smoky delight.

All the new flavors are packaged in Hidden Valley’s redesigned “easy squeeze” bottle, which the company claims can reduce waste and control mess. Beyond that, packets of Garlic Ranch Seasoning and Creamy Jalapeño Ranch Seasoning will be hitting store shelves. I’m partial to sprinkling these versatile packets over warm pretzels, but it’s entirely up to your discretion. 

All of the new sauces and seasonings will be heading to grocery stores nationwide, but there are a few stipulations: Cajun Blackened Ranch will only be available at Kroger, while a handful of others (Blue Cheese Ranch, Sweet BBQ Ranch, and Cracked Pepper Ranch) are only going to Walmart shelves. 

In need of inspiration to fully appreciate Hidden Valley’s latest launch? The brand suggests drizzling its creamy ranch over pizza or wings — a statement that is sure to disturb all those pizza purists out there. Our apologies in advance:
