Häagen-Dazs Is Dropping 4 Brand-New Ice Cream Cones We Can’t Wait to Try

Some food combinations are so delicious that it’s hard to imagine enjoying them any other way. Like peanut butter and jelly, cookies and milk, french fries and milkshakes, ice cream and waffle cones. While some prefer scooping ice cream from a bowl, I find that the crunchy, buttery texture of waffle cones is the perfect complement to rich, melty ice cream.

I’ll admit it, I’m an ice cream cone from a parlor person through and through. Because of this, I often skip over the ice cream selection at the grocery store. And unless I’m feeling particularly nostalgic (looking at you, Drumstick), the assortment of pre-packaged ice cream cones is kind of lackluster. There’s not much variety compared to the pints. Thankfully, Häagen-Dazs has noticed this too. The chain just released a new lineup of ice cream, complete with a Belgian waffle cone.

New Häagen-Dazs Belgian Waffle Cones

Social media has been buzzing about a potential new Häagen-Dazs drop since the beginning of the year, and it has finally arrived. Starting on Jan. 27, a brand new line of Belgian Waffle Cones and two new ice cream bars are coming to stores. Much like the ice cream cones of our childhoods, each of Häagen-Dazs’ Belgian Waffle Cones features one of its popular ice cream flavors, topped with various toppings like chocolate shavings, and complete with caramel, fudge, or raspberry sauce nestled at the bottom of the cone.

The new line features four flavors:

• Toasted Almond Fudge: A classic combination of vanilla, chocolate, and nuts, Toasted Almond Fudge features the brand’s popular vanilla ice cream with toasted almonds, milk chocolate shavings, and fudge sauce.
• Vanilla Salted Caramel: Another classic flavor combination, this one features velvety vanilla ice cream with salted caramel pieces and milk chocolate shavings with a sticky caramel sauce.
• Summer Berry: This showcases the brand’s crowd-pleasing strawberry ice cream with both white chocolate and milk chocolate shavings, and a tangy raspberry sauce.
• Triple Chocolate Fudge: Perfect for chocolate lovers, this features Häagen-Dazs’ iconic chocolate ice cream with milk and dark chocolate shavings and fudge sauce.

To make things even sweeter, Häagen-Dazs is also releasing two new ice cream bars that are so decadent, it’ll be impossible to pass them up: the Salted Caramel Macadamia Ice Cream Bar and the New York Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream Bar.

Both the ice cream bars and Belgian Waffle Cones are now available at major retailers nationwide. It is the first of what’s expected to be 10 new items from the brand this year, so be sure to check back in—because word on the street is there’ll be dairy-free options and an all-new pint to look forward to.
