It’s officially spooky season, and Microsoft is getting in the swing of things by offering a pair of scary movies to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. As spotted by Wario64, Microsoft is giving away copies of the iconic horror film Saw and Rob Zombie’s 2005 horror movie The Device’s Rejects.
These movies are available for Game Pass Ultimate members as part of the “perks” program. You can see all the Game Pass Ultimate perks on the Xbox website or on the Xbox app.
If you really like the Saw franchise, the 10-movie bundle is available on Amazon for the horrifyingly good price of $46 (was $80). This includes all ten Saw films, including the newest one, Saw X, on Blu-ray and DVD (digital copies are included as well). In total, it’s more than 17 hours of Saw.
The Devil’s Rejects, meanwhile, is Zombie’s 2005 horror flick that wasn’t very popular upon release but later gained a cult following. It was actor Matthew McGrory’s final movie; he died the same year it came out.
In other Game Pass news, the first wave of additions and removals to the catalog in October have been announced. You can see the lists in the stories linked below.
Looking further into October, perhaps the biggest release in Game Pass history–Call of Duty: Black Ops 6–lands on October 25. Game Pass Ultimate members get it at no extra charge, but Game Pass Standard and Core members are locked out.
