Gatorade Is Releasing 2 First-Of-Their-Kind Flavors

Some days, I think that every brand has to have exhausted its new ideas for products and flavors. But then Frito-Lay introduces a new line of “better-for-you” Doritos and Ruffles and Chick-fil-A rolls out a bigger size of its beloved store-bought Chick-fil-A sauce at Sam’s Club and Costco. Because, let’s be honest, if consumers love your product already, why try to reinvent the wheel?

Take Gatorade, for example. The hydration brand has almost every electrolyte-filled product under the sun, from its classic Thirst Quencher to Gatorlyte, Gatorade Fit, and Propel. Gatorade has even ventured into the energy and protein space with its Energy Chews, Muscle Milk, and protein shakes, bars, and powders.

And yet, the brand is still finding new products to make—and new ways to get customers saying, “I can’t believe we haven’t thought of that before.”

Because Gatorade’s classic Thirst Quencher drinks have been around for years, we all have our favorite flavors. And, even though the brand releases new beverage flavors every so often, the originals, like Lemon-Lime, Fruit Punch, Orange, and Cool Blue, will always be king.

And now, for the first time ever, Gatorade is taking its beloved classics and mashing them up into new flavors. This spring, the brand is introducing all-new Gatorade Flavor Mashups.

Gatorade Releases New Flavor Mashups

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Gatorade is taking the brand back to its roots by turning its four most-loved flavors into all-new products.

Gatorade

Gatorade’s new Flavor Mashups combine Cool Blue with Fruit Punch and Lemon-Lime with Orange for an all-new flavor experience lifelong Gatorade fans will love.

Consumers and athletes have been mixing their Gatorade flavors for years, so the brand wanted to show its fans love by bringing their creations to market. The new Cool Blue Fruit Punch and Lemon Lime Orange Gatorades feature the same Thirst Quencher flavors you know and love combined into one beverage.

Gatorade Flavor Mashups are already rolling out to retailer stores nationwide now, with more availability coming in mid-April. The new flavors will be available in single-serve 28-ounce bottles, as well as a 20-pack that contains both the Cool Blue Fruit Punch and Lemon Lime Orange flavors.

Gone are the days when you have to concoct your own Gatorade flavor in your water bottle or cooler. But now, it begs the question: When you bet on the Gatorade flavor that gets poured on the winning coach at Super Bowl LX, will you have to take Cool Blue Fruit Punch and Lemon Lime Orange into account?
