Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will launch with a 17-character roster that includes a mix of old and new fighters, with five more joining over the months after launch via the Season Pass 1 DLC included with all versions of the game.

Along with standard gameplay modes like online and offline versus mode and arcade mode, the game will also include an RPG mode where players explore South Town, earn XP in battles, and customize their character. There will be control schemes to use; “Arcade Style” uses the classic inputs of previous Fatal Fury games, while “Smart Style” simplifies the controls with direction-based inputs similar to Street Fighter 6’s new Modern control mode.

If you’re interested in experiencing more of SNK’s fighting game history, you can preorder the remaster of the classic crossover fighter, SNK vs. Capcom SVC Chaos, for $35 at Amazon ahead of its February 11 release date. This enhanced port of SNK’s 2003 fighting game features a roster of fighters from Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, and Capcom’s Street Fighter series. It’s been upgraded with full online matchmaking with roll-back net code, art galleries, built-in tournament modes, and more. Physical copies are available for Nintendo Switch and PS4, while digital preorders are available on PS4, Switch, and PC.

You can also see Capcom’s side of the rivalry thanks to the inclusion of Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2 in the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection 2 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The collection also includes several other classic Capcom-published games like Power Stone 1 and 2, Project Justice, Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, and more. While no release date has been announced, preorders for the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are available now, and physical PS4 and Switch copies include a limited-edition Capcom vs. SNK comic.
