ESPN Plus Deal Cuts Price of Annual Plan to $100

Eyeing ESPN Plus? The Disney-owned sports streaming service recently hiked prices, but it’s offering a deal to new and returning subscribers.

On Oct. 17, ESPN Plus’ monthly price rose from $11 to $12, and its annual price increased from $110 to $120. A deal available through the ESPN Plus website right now reduces the yearly price to $100 instead, which works out to just over $8 a month.

ESPN Plus offers live sports events, original studio shows and other series that don’t air on the ESPN networks, according to its site. Included in that first category are out-of-market NHL games, select out-of-market MLB games during the season, some UFC matches (with others requiring an extra fee) and more.

In addition to ESPN Plus, Disney’s October price increase affected Hulu, Disney Plus, Hulu Live TV plans and most Disney bundles. The bundles combine subscriptions to ESPN Plus, Hulu and Disney Plus or just the latter two streaming services. The ESPN Plus offer runs through Dec. 2, and the plan renews at full price in a year if you don’t cancel. You won’t be able to get the deal if you’re a current ESPN Plus subscriber, but you can try canceling and letting your subscription run through.

You can access ESPN Plus through a tab in the ESPN app. Here’s our review of the service and more streaming deals you can snag now.
