Elden Ring Books Of Knowledge Volume 3 Releases On Halloween, Preorders Discounted At Amazon

Estimated read time 5 min read

Preorders for the official Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree strategy guide are on sale for $34.74 (was $45) at Amazon. Originally slated for September 30, the book was quietly pushed back to October 31. The hardcover book is Volume 3 in the highly rated Books of Knowledge guidebook series published by Future Press. If you’re interested in adding the book to your shelf, we’d highly recommend preordering, as there’s no guarantee the book will remain available for long after its release. Volume 1 and Volume 2 in the Books of Knowledge series have been sold out for months, and it’s unclear if they will be printed again. At this time, you can only buy the first two volumes from resellers in new or preowned condition.

Shadow of the Erdtree’s guide is releasing on the heels of the massive 744-page Bloodborne Complete Guide, which was published by Future Press on October 15 and is in stock for $54 (was $60) at Amazon.

In better news, both official Elden Ring Art Books have been restocked at Amazon and are on sale for steep discounts. Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume I offers an in-depth look at the The Lands Between’s sprawling open world, dungeons, main characters and NPCs, and armor. Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume II, meanwhile, focuses on the bosses and other enemies you encounter as well as the wide array of weapons you can wield. Together, the two hardcovers eclipse 800 pages and include a bounty of stunning artwork and lore. You can grab both volumes for roughly $77 total (combined value is $120).

Elden Ring also has an official manga called The Road to the Erdtree. If you are looking to read a grim and serious manga set in The Lands Between, this is not that. The Road to Erdtree is a comedy, and the writing is genuinely quite good. It’s definitely worth checking out if you love Elden Ring. You don’t need to have completed the game to enjoy the manga, though like most adaptations, prior knowledge would probably enhance the experience.

Future Press has been busy this year with books focused on From Software games. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the publisher has reissued new editions of two of its most popular gaming books: the aforementioned Bloodborne Complete Guide and Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium. Published on April 15, the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium is a 480-page hardcover offering the most comprehensive deep dive on Dark Souls and its two sequels that’s in print today. Like Future’s Elden Ring guides, these Bloodborne and Dark Souls books were written and designed in collaboration with From Software.

There are many unofficial strategy guides and lore books created by fans listed on Amazon. Bloodborne Complete Guide, Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium, and the Elden Ring strategy guides are official From Software books. The same goes for Udon Entertainment’s Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and Dark Souls art books.

The trio of Dark Souls Design Works books were translated and published in English by Udon Entertainment. The first two books are still available directly from Amazon, but unfortunately the third book has been sold out for a long time and is pricey from resellers. If you mainly care about the artwork, not the accompanying text, the original Japanese editions published by Kadokawa are available at Amazon, including Dark Souls III: Design Works for substantially less than the English edition:
