How do you keep your diet varied when you have to follow such a strict training regimen?
Having a varied diet is important so you don’t get bored. I always try to make everything myself, so even if it means I’m craving a curry, I’ll make one, rather than get a takeaway.
What do you eat on your days off?
Days off look a bit different because I’m not training, so I will tailor my meals to higher protein, less carbohydrates.

Try to understand and learn about your body, and find out what you need.
Do you have any advice for getting more protein into your diet?
I would always say try and get it from a food source, and if you need extra, you can add in protein shakes.
Apart from your speciality, what’s your favourite sport/exercise?
I love boxing training and I enjoy watching it, too. I like it because it’s such a lone sport and you have to be so disciplined as it’s only you in the ring.
What’s your favourite recipe on goodfood.com?
I love the BBQ section, as it’s starting to become hotter and sunnier. I like seeing what different things I can make in my smoker.
