After a week of reveals and rankings on the official College Football 25 website, EA Sports is closing out the week with the most-requested rankings of all. Today, the publisher revealed the best-ranked teams overall in the upcoming college football sim, and fans in Athens, Georgia will be happy with the results.
The Georgia Bulldogs have taken the top spot with a 95 overall ranking, which is a full two points ahead of Ohio State and Oregon, who are tied for second at 93 overall. The top five is rounded out by Alabama and Texas, who both enter the season at 92 overall.
The overall team rankings come one day after the top ranks on offense and defense, with each list topped by Georgia and Ohio State respectively. Before that, EA Sports revealed which stadiums will be the toughest for road teams to compete in, with Texas A+M’s Kyle Field taking the top spot.

College Football 25 is the first college football simulation from EA Sports since 2013. The game will feature all 134 teams from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), as well as individual playbooks, home stadiums, and gameday traditions for each team.
EA Sports College Football 25 launches July 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Those who preorder the deluxe edition can access the game three days early on July 16.
