Dunkin’ Just Dropped a 5-Song ‘Iced Boys’ EP for the Summer

Dunkin’ is making more than coffee this summer. And it’s all thanks to the Dunkin’ interns, aka the “Dunkin’terns.”

Over the last few weeks, fans have gotten to know this season’s Dunkin’terns, including boy band legends A.J. McLean and Joey Fatone, who work for none other than Will Arnett and content creator Corporate Natalie. For their greatest intern task of all, the boy banders weren’t asked to create a new doughnut of coffee concoction but rather to create an earworm we can all get down to. And man, did they deliver. In fact, they delivered an entire five-track EP inspired by Dunkin’s iced beverage lineup, and it’s available to stream on Spotify now.

According to Dunkin’, it considers “Iced Like My Coffee” as the standout single.

“Iced Boys, old and new fans will love the deliciously nostalgic track reminiscent of ’90s-style jams with a modern and chill Dunkin’ spin,” Dunkin’ shared about the song. “And that’s not all — music lovers can also look forward to their very first visualizer of ‘Iced Like My Coffee,’ an engaging video featuring the Iced Boys premiering later this July.”

And honestly, as a die-hard ‘Nsync tween (I saw them not once, twice, but four times in concert), the song is actually a pretty fantastic representation of something I’d have on repeat in my Discman.

But again, it’s not the only song to enjoy. There’s also an “Intro,” followed by the songs “Refresher Season, “SPARKD’ UP,” and “All I Need is An Iced Coffee,” all featuring Peyton Mackenzie and August Roads.

This also isn’t the only new thing Dunkin’ has going on as of late. In May, the brand dropped its summer menu, which includes Blueberry Donut Iced Coffee and Vanilla Frosted Donut Signature Latte, along with a few other new and returning items, including the Watermelon Burst Donut, the Chocolate Chunk Cookie, and the Kiwi Watermelon Dunkin’ Refresher that’s available with either green tea or lemonade.

“Summer is a time for discovery and delight, and at Dunkin’, we’re embracing that spirit with our vibrant new menu,” Dunkin’s vice president of category management Beth Turenne shared with Food & Wine in May. “We’ve turned familiar favorites into innovative drinks and added exciting new food items to our menu, making sure our customers have what they need to power through their day. Whether it’s a delicious Blueberry Donut Iced Coffee on a sunny morning or a Kiwi Watermelon Refresher after a long day, we’re here to energize every moment, serving as the perfect sidekick for warmer weather adventures.”

So maybe go in, grab a summer drink, and blast the new song in the car with your besties. Preferably on the way to the mall. Sorry, no flip phone included.
