Costco’s Latest Limited-Time Treat Is So Good, Customers ‘Bought at Least 20’

It’s officially a new year, which means out with the old and in with the new—time to toss the old holiday leftovers and stock up for cozy winter meals. But even if we’re looking for healthier meal options in January, that doesn’t mean we can’t indulge just a little bit this month, too. And who better to help us out than Costco?

So, while we’re shopping at the warehouse store for easy two-ingredient dinners and Kirkland staples to refill our pantries, we’re also eager to add the most recent seasonal treat everyone is talking about.

Béquet Caramel Candies Are Available Now at Costco

Costco’s limited-time goodie, Béquet Caramel, has been getting a lot of love recently, and for good reason. These individually wrapped sweet caramel candies, made with vanilla butter caramel and Celtic sea salt, come in a 17.1-ounce bag (with about 42 pieces) and are handmade in Montana. The label offers them up as “a buttery one-of-a-kind experience you’ll never forget.” As if we needed another selling point, they’re also touted as a nine-time national award-winning gourmet caramel.

A recent thread on the /Costco Reddit forum confirms, “These are the best caramels,” you won’t be able to stop buying them once you start. The original poster explains they thought they might be good but didn’t expect them to be “on another level.”

Others described how they “cannot stop eating these until they are gone,” while someone else added that they have already “purchased 10 bags.” A few have even warned that they are “careful about how often we buy them” because they were “stuffing like 10 of those bad boys in my face a day.”

One particular comment included a pro tip to turn the store-bought caramels into homemade tasting decadence: “Put them on a cooling rack, pour melted chocolate over them…Say you made them.” Bring the candies to a party or as a host gift for everyone to enjoy.

As for us, we’re already planning our next Costco shopping run solely to search for these. Since they are a seasonal item, they won’t be around forever. Some shoppers have found that it also depends on the Costco location, as not every warehouse offers them. Luckily, you can always stick to ordering online—as a Redditor pointed out, the candies are available on Costco.com if you can’t find them in person. With so many saying how “amazing” they are, we are equally eager to “try these now.”
