Attention Costco shoppers, there’s an active recall on approximately 10,800 retail units of Organic Pasture Raised 24-Count Eggs sold under the Kirkland Signature brand, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. This is due to potential Salmonella contamination.

According to the FDA report, the eggs were sold in 25 stores in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee beginning November 22, 2024. There have been no illnesses reported so far.

The affected eggs are Organic Pasture Raised 24-Count Eggs sold in a plastic egg carton labeled with Kirkland Signature. The eggs are marked with UPC 9661910680, have a Julian code 327 and a Use By Date of Jan 6, 2025.

If you have any of the affected eggs in your refrigerator, return them to Costco for a refund or dispose of them immediately.

Symptoms can be more severe for those age 65 or older, immunocompromised individuals or for young children. If you are experiencing any of these signs after eating the impacted eggs, contact your health care provider as soon as possible.
