Costco Has a Holiday Find Fans Call ‘Worth Every Penny’

It’s a fact: chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs automatically taste better than the regular version. So imagine our excitement when we found out that Costco is selling holiday-shaped nuggets?! Apparently, our steadfast excitement is not one-sided, because the internet seems to be just as hyped up as we are. 

Costco will always have an unwavering following, thanks to its many fan-favorite offerings over the years (with one of its most recent being a new heat-and-eat lasagna soup). Because of this, social media fan accounts were quick to spot the grocer’s latest addition to its freezer section ahead of Thanksgiving: holiday-inspired chicken nuggets. According to a Reddit thread, this festive offering was also available at the warehouse for a limited-time last year.  

Costco’s Yummy Dino Buddies Holiday Chicken Nuggets 

We first caught wind of these Yummy Dino Buddies Holiday Chicken Nuggets on TikTok. You’ll most likely find them in the freezer section right next to the brand’s regular dinosaur chicken nuggets.The holly jolly shapes include a reindeer, holiday tree, gingerbread man, snowman, candy cane, and stocking. 

According to the 5-pound box (that’s a lot of nuggets!), these breaded nuggets are made of white meat chicken patties and contain no artificial ingredients, flavors, colors, or preservatives. “They are dangerously good, about to go get another box,” one commenter wrote. 

Another claimed that the nuggets are also stocked at WinCo Foods, a supermarket in select states on the Pacific Coast, adding that they’ve “already gone through two boxes.” Per Costco’s product description, these holiday chicken nuggets are fully cooked, microwavable, and need to be kept frozen until you’re ready to heat and eat them.

Customers are particularly cheerful about the fact that these shapes are kid-friendly, making them a fun edition to any family meal. “We are using them for our annual ‘Christmas Kid Edition Dinner,’” one shopper said. “They are going to be super happy.” We’d even venture so far out to guess that even Santa himself would be smiling from ear to ear at holiday chicken nuggets on his plate. 

It’s unclear how long this frozen Costco item will be available, so make sure to snag them on your next warehouse trip before they’re gone!
