“Chrissy’s cooking is truly excellent. She’s a true perfectionist and extremely precise. She remembers where she came from, and she’s very proud of that.” That is the glowing description from famed French chef Eric Ripert when Chrissy Teigen — American cookbook author, TV personality, wife of singer John Legend, and curator of the Cravings lifestyle brand — made the Time 100 List in 2019. Teigen has only grown her kitchen empire since then, having launched a line of baking mixes at grocery stores last fall. Today, the brand announced the first expansion of that line with two new products: Heavenly Coconut Key Lime Cake Mix and John’s Glorious Golden Cookie Mix.
This new pair of sweets joins a lineup that includes Chrissy’s Ultimate Banana Bread Mix, Buttermilk Mochi Pancake and Waffle Mix, and the Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix, each inspired by recipes from her cookbooks and each designed to be accessible to home cooks of any skill level.
Of the two new products, Teigen said in the press release, “These recipes are so personal to us, and we’re so excited to share them with the world so they can enjoy it with their family and friends!”
The new Heavenly Coconut Key Lime Cake Mix, the brand’s first cake offering, features a bright green hue when baked. According to the press release, “The cake is moist and rich, while also being wonderfully light, balancing sweet and tangy lime with velvety coconut.” It requires the addition of eggs, oil, and water. Meanwhile, John’s Glorious Golden Cookie Mix isn’t just named to capitalize on Legend’s star power. It’s a cookie that Teigen developed based on her husband’s favorite peanut butter cookies, adding brown sugar, oats, and cornflakes to the mix for a sweet and savory dessert with lots of texture. This box mix makes 12 cookies and requires the addition of egg yolk and butter.

The two new mixes can be purchased for nationwide shipping in three-packs on the Cravings website, but they’ll also be available at major grocery stores nationwide, including Kroger and Albertsons stores.
Cravings, which started as a website where Teigen would publish recipes, has expanded over the years into a thriving lifestyle brand. Just a month ago, Teigen debuted the Nude Collection, an all-neutral-colored bakeware line, which can be purchased from the website along with knives, cutting boards, utensils, servingware, accessories, food, and even cozy robes and pajama sets. There’s even a membership option: members of the Cravings Crew receive exclusive discounts and early access to new products.
Teigen isn’t the only celebrity gracing the baking aisle. Through her partnership with Duncan Hines, music legend Dolly Parton sells everything from cornbread to brownie mix, and that lineup just keeps expanding—perhaps Teigen’s will as well.
