How player levels works in Warzone Season 1
Season 1 features cross-progression between Black Ops 6 and Warzone, meaning your player level in Warzone will match whatever rank you are currently in Black Ops 6. So, if you’re already Prestige 1 level 55 in Black Ops 6, that’s the rank you’ll see when you log in to Warzone.
You’ll start fresh at level 1 if you haven’t played Black Ops 6. Playing and earning XP will increase your rank from 1 to the max rank of level 55. After you’ve completed level 55, you’ll have the option to Prestige, which re-locks your loadout items and sends you back to level 1. This is a rinse-and-repeat cycle that might sound tedious for some battle-royale players, but you can earn some sweet exclusive rewards.
More in-depth Prestige details and a look at the rewards can be found here, which includes operator skins, weapon blueprints, and nostalgic loading screens inspired by past Black Ops games.
How weapon levels work for Warzone in Season 1
Warzone is adding Black Ops 6 weapons to the already large weapon pool that includes guns from previous years. Even though your rank is reset, you’ll still keep the levels of any guns you’ve used.
This means you can still pick your favorite gun from MW2 or MW3 and have all your attachments unlocked and ready to go, or you can choose one of the new Black Ops 6 weapons for your loadout.
Any weapon progression in Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies will carry over to Warzone, but if you haven’t played the game yet, you’ll need to unlock those weapons at the required rank, and then level those weapons up to get attachments unlocked.
For the first time ever, Season 1 of Warzone also adds a unique Mastery camo grind for battle royale.
The Season 1 battle pass features over 100 items to unlock, which includes the new Krig C assault rifle and Saug submachine gun. You can find more highlights of the Season 1 content here.
