Is Labor Day a good time to buy a TV?
If you’re eyeing a new TV, Labor Day is an excellent time to shop. Multiple retailers offer markdowns across a wide variety of models and sizes, giving you a top notch selection to choose from a great price. Plus, once Labor Day has passed, there isn’t another major holiday shopping event until Black Friday, so you may be waiting awhile to catch another great deal.
How much should you spend on a TV?
There is no right or wrong answer to this question. The important thing to consider when shopping for a TV is your needs and your budget. While there are plenty of cheap TV deals available to shop, some of those models won’t offer all of the features a more premium model may. Additionally, if you want an OLED display, that’s going to cost significantly more than LED and other models.
Size also tends to play into how much you’ll spend, but for a standard entertainment area like a living room, you’ll probably want to invest in a TV that is at least 55 inches, though 65 inches or larger is best in most cases. For bedrooms, you should opt for a model at least 43 inches in size.
If you’re going to splurge, spending more on a larger screen will probably make the biggest impact, delivering more bang for your buck. You can check out our TV buying guide if you want more information before you buy.
What are the best Labor Day sales to shop?
