Arby’s may “have the meats,” but it’s also the spot for some serious deals. Earlier this month, we got extra lucky when the chain gave away its Corned Beef Reuben for free to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Last year, its Double the Meats Meal gave us more food for less with a sandwich, fry, and drink priced at just $7. And its Surf & Turf Deal has us chowing down on two signature sandwiches for the same price.
Now, the fast food chain is giving customers yet another freebie, just as college basketball makes its much anticipated return.
March Madness has officially kicked off this week, and who doesn’t want to celebrate with some tasty grub? Some of our favorite chains are getting in on the action with new menu items, like Red Robin’s Buzzer Beater Bacon Cheeseburger and Buffalo Wild Wing’s Beer Cheese Cheesesteak. Arby’s is amped, too, but instead, it’s giving away free food.
How to Score a Free Sandwich at Arby’s During March Madness
Arby’s
Basketball fans, get ready to fuel up on the cheap while you watch the teams dwindle down during March Madness. From March 20 through 24, Arby’s is offering free à la carte sandwiches with a $15 purchase.
But there’s just one catch: The deal only exists if an underdog men’s basketball team wins a game during opening weekend. So, keep an eye out for those upsets.
Here’s how it works: Any team ranked between 9 and 16 is considered an underdog, and if they win, the Arby’s Upset Alert deal will go into effect the following day.
Make sure you’re an Arby’s Rewards member so you can receive the deal in your account should the bracket fall in your favor. This offer is available at participating locations for online orders and pickup, but not for delivery. Any sandwich can be selected, but only one can be redeemed per day, the day after an upset. This giveaway will continue throughout the weekend, including Sunday (to be redeemed on Monday).
If you aren’t already an Arby’s Rewards member, it’s easy to sign up for a chance to score free sandwiches now and throughout the year. Sounds like a major win to us.
