The first major Diablo 4 expansion, Vessel of Hatred, finally arrives on October 7. Ahead of its release, you’ll find a handful of huge discounts on McFarlane’s Diablo 4 7-inch collectible figures–giving you a cheap way to add a few companions to your game room before diving into another bloody adventure through Sanctuary.
McFarlane Diablo 4 Figures at Amazon
Amazon’s Diablo 4 figure deals are available in limited quantities., and since they bring the figures down to their lowest prices ever, we doubt they’ll be available for long. A couple of them are already over 50% claimed as of October 2 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.
The Lightning Storm Druid is down to just $16 (was $30). The budget-friendly model is a 1:12 scale replica with a variety of interchangeable components. Accessories include an interchangeable head and hand, three different weapons, and a mystery weapon. You’ll also get a display stand so you can easily place it in your game room or home office.
The other three figures featured in the limited-time deals are on sale for $18 each, down from $30.
If you play as a Barbarian, check out the Upheaval Barbarian, who is fittingly striking the most aggressive pose of the four. The Barbarian figure comes with the four weapons shown in the product listing and a fifth mystery weapon. If you prefer zapping enemies from a distance, the Hydra Lightning Sorceress comes with four weapons, a display stand, and a pair of swappable heads, one with a helmet on, the other without. Druid fans may be disappointed that the Tornado Druid figure can’t transform into a werewolf, but at least his four-horned helmet looks cool. Like the others, you can swap between helmeted and no-helmeted looks. The Druid comes with the three weapons shown, a mystery weapon, and a display stand.
McFarlane’s series of Diablo 4 figures features 13 unique designs, most of which are still selling for around $30. If you want to add to your collection beyond the four detailed above, the Amazon-exclusive Rend Barbarian and Blood Necromancer two-pack is pretty close to the same price per figure as the deals. This two-pack is currently available for $37.58, which breaks down to $18.79 for each.
Diablo Art and Lore Books
If you want to add a few weighty Diablo books to your bookshelf, Amazon has deals on both Diablo art books. The Art of Diablo Volume I is available for over 50% off, dropping the price of this 250-page hardcover to only $20. Volume II released in July, so the discount isn’t as substantial, but you can still save $10.
Before you grab the standard hardcover edition, you’ll want to take a peek at The Art of Diablo: Volume II – Limited Edition. Releasing November 5 and available to preorder at Amazon, this version has an illustrated cover and understated slipcase. The cover art has “blind UV effects,” according to the listing, so it will react in some way when moved beneath UV light. The Limited Edition also comes with two exclusive art prints.
Blizzard also has a series of lore books that are worth checking out. If you haven’t read any of the Character Tomes, you can get a nice box set for a bargain right now at Amazon. Diablo: Horadric Vault – The Complete Collection comes with four hardcover books and is discounted to only $59. Each book in The Horadric Vault series is narrated by a major character from the games. This box set released last fall when the series only had four books, but soon it will no longer be “complete.” A fifth Character Tome, the Book of Prava, will be published on October 22, and preorders are available now for $30. The other four Character Tomes are available to purchase separately, too.
