The 96th Academy Awards took place on Sunday evening, and Oppenheimer was a big winner of the night, scoring the most awards, including Best Picture.

Oppenheimer won seven total Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Cillian Murphy), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Robert Downey Jr.), Cinematography (Hoyte van Hoytema), Editing (Jennifer Lame), and Original Score (Ludwig Göransson).

“We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb, and for better or for worse, we’re all living in Oppenheimer’s world,” Murphy said during his acceptance speech.

Another big winner of the evening was Poor Things, which earned four awards, including Emma Stone’s second Oscar win. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon was nominated for 10 awards but won zero.

Another notable event from the evening was John Cena coming out on stage mostly naked to hand out the award for Best Costume Design, which went to Poor Things. For what it’s worth, Cena also has an OnlyFans now, so fans are getting to see a lot of Cena’s body lately.

There was also a segment during the event dedicated to stunts, praising the dedicated and driven stunt people for their contributions to cinema, though there is still no official award category for stunts.
