Square Enix and Dark Horse are teaming up for an English localization of the official Bravely Default II art book. The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021 is a hardcover book featuring concept art and behind-the-scenes insights into the RPG’s development directly from the developers. The book will launch for $50 on April 22, 2025, and preorders are available now.
$50
The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X–2021 features roughly 300 pages of concept art, marketing illustrations, and other artwork from Bravely Default II. Along with the artwork, the book also includes commentary from members of the Bravely Default development team, translated into English for the first time. Dark Horse’s first two Bravely Default art books were great, so fans will want to keep the upcoming book on their radar.
Preorders for the Art of Bravely Default II: 201X–2021 are available for $50 at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
While The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X–2021’s April 22, 2025 release date is a ways off, fans can pick up the aforementioned art books covering other Bravely Default games to read through in the meantime. The official English version of The Art of Bravely Default is available for just $25 at Amazon. The localized version of The Art of Bravely Second: End Layer is on sale for $27.
If you haven’t played Bravely Default II, you can pick up a physical edition for Nintendo Switch for as low as $29 at Amazon. The first two games in the turn-based RPG series were Nintendo 3DS exclusives. These days, you’ll wind up paying more than their original $40 prices for new copies. You can purchase new copies of Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer for $47 and $50, respectively, at Amazon.
