EA has confirmed that a rumored death-based expansion pack for The Sims 4 is indeed in development, and it’s set to arrive just in time for Halloween. But The Life And Death expansion pack isn’t the only content players have to look forward to this fall: New kits and in-game events are on the way, too.
In a short video roadmap released by Maxis and EA, tarot cards are flipped over, with each card depicting upcoming content for The Sims 4. The game’s developers are referring to the upcoming releases collectively as “the season of To Be Continued.”
The animated “tarot reading” revealed the following expansions, kits, and updates, along with their release dates:
- The Storybook Nursery Kit launches on September 19
- The Artist Studio Kit launches on September 19
- The Reaper’s Rewards Event, a free base game event, begins September 24
- Players will get their first look at the Life And Death expansion pack on October 3
- The Life And Death expansion pack launches on October 31
EA says more details about all upcoming Sims 4 content will be revealed in the coming days, and that the content featured in the short tarot card trailer is just the beginning, as the “To Be Continued” season runs from September through December 2024. Although the wait for the next expansion pack isn’t long at all, players craving new Sims 4 content still have plenty to explore in the recently released Lovestruck expansion pack.
