The neighborhood coffee shop is my happy place. Even though I live nomadically and move around a lot, I tend to frequent the same cafes over and over again until I become a regular (albeit temporarily). The only problem? My daily $4 lattes began to burn a hole in my wallet. Last month, to reduce my spending without sacrificing the flavor and quality of my morning brew, I decided to test out Nespresso’s newest, most compact espresso machine.
Not only can the Vertuo Pop+ brew all my favorite coffee and espresso drinks in seconds, but it’s small enough to take with me from place to place as I travel. This do-it-all appliance has been saving me so much time and money, I may just bid adieu to the coffee shop for good. If you, too, want to become your own barista, snag this espresso machine while it’s 25% off at Amazon.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ Deluxe Coffee and Espresso Machine
Despite being a serial coffee shop regular, I’ve never committed to any one espresso drink. I might drink a cup of drip coffee on Monday, an oat milk latte on Tuesday, a cold brew on Wednesday, and so on. For this reason, I needed a versatile coffee maker that could make all my favorite sips. The machine is compatible with five pod sizes to make 5-, 8-, and 12-ounce drip coffees, plus single and double espressos. Best of all, it makes delicious iced coffee and cold brew.
Nespresso’s most compact machine, the Vertuo Pop+ measures just 12-by-8.5-by-10.5 inches, making it great for small spaces and on-the-go portability. It comes with a milk frother that can heat up to 8 ounces of milk or make up to 4 ounces of cold foam in just seconds. The machine is made of 35% recycled plastic and comes in 11 colors, including silver, white, red, and mint green.
Thanks to Nespresso’s massive library of coffee capsules, I can choose from dozens of styles and flavors ranging in size, intensity, and sweetness. Each pod is filled with freshly roasted coffee, and according to Nespresso, the aluminum pods keep grounds fresh at least 50 times longer than an opened bag of coffee.
The Vertuo Pop+ also offers Bluetooth connectivity, which allows me to control the machine via the Nespresso app. I use it to order new pods and look at espresso drink recipes, and I also love that it alerts me when it’s time to descale my machine.
The machine takes just 30 seconds to heat up, features an adjustable drip tray to accommodate cups and mugs of varying sizes and heights, and automatically ejects used pods into a built-in tank that’s easy to remove and empty when needed. Plus, its removable 37-ounce water tank is easy to refill and clean.
One happy Amazon shopper says using the machine is “so much easier and cheaper than going to your local coffee shop,” and I couldn’t agree more. The machine saves me more than $100 a month on coffee, and I’m never looking back. Shop now to score up to 25% off.
