With Prime Day on the horizon, Amazon is setting the stage for its annual event with some early deals. Normally $75, you can pick up this tome of elegant illustrations and epic storytelling for just $26 once you click the coupon box. It’s not eligible for Amazon’s B2G1 free deal, but it is part of Target’s sale (though it’s $39 at Target).

What makes this book so special is that it’s designed to look and feel like a premium print of the Lord of the Rings saga. It features gorgeous illustrations by J.R.R. Tolkien, the text has been printed in two colors, there are sprayed edges, and a ribbon bookmark for this hardcover release. There’s also a special edition available, although it is pricier and costs $94 on sale. Still, that’s way better than its usual $250 price tag.

Overall, there are 30 color illustrations, maps, and sketches drawn by Tolkien as he constructed this sweeping fantasy adventure, and the story is accompanied by pages from the Book of Mazarbul and the Bridge of Khazad-dum chapter. There are also two removable fold-out maps drawn by Christopher Tolkien revealing all the details of Middle-earth.

The Silmarillion Illustrated is just $32 (if you check the coupon box) and The Hobbit Illustrated is $40 (this one is part of the B2G1 free sale). This is just the tip of Hobbit iceberg, and you can find even more deals in the list below. If reading is too 1900s for you, then you can preorder the region-free collection now for $153 (was $170) at Amazon ahead of its August 9 release.

If that’s not enough Tolkien content to rule your bookshelf with, the good news is that even more LOTR books are on sale as part of Target’s B2G1 promotion.
