Reminder: Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 16. If you haven’t gotten your dad anything special yet, that’s okay. You can always take him to Wendy’s.
The fast food spot announced it’s offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on its Baconators just in time for Father’s Day. But the deal isn’t just good for Sunday — it will be available Friday and Saturday too, so you can celebrate with your pop all weekend long.
As our friends at People reported, the deal is valid through an in-app offer, though you must have a registered Wendy’s account to get it. (Luckily, it’s free and easy to sign up.)
The offer is also valid for all four variations of the Baconator.
As Wendy’s explains on its site, its original Baconator starts with “two fresh, never frozen beef hamburger patties with piping hot American cheese melting between them. Then we add bacon – six delicious strips of Applewood smoked bacon, to be exact.” They stack “everything atop a perfectly soft premium bun, add ketchup and mayonnaise, and serve it up perfectly hot and juicy.”
But wait, there’s more. The deal also applies to the Son of Baconator, which uses smaller beef patties and four strips of bacon (rather than six). “For fans with a slightly smaller appetite, the Son of Baconator is just as delicious as the OG Baconator,” Wendy’s says on its site.
Then there’s the Breakfast Baconator, made with grilled sausage and topped “with melted American cheese and crispy Applewood smoked bacon,” along with a grilled egg and more bacon, all smothered in cheese sauce. “It’s pure Baconator bliss for your morning,” Wendy’s states.
Finally, fans can try the Pretzel Baconator, made with all the same fixings on a pretzel bun.
If you’re really hoping to make it a special day, you can pair your Baconators with Wendy’s new Frosty flavor, the Triple Berry Frosty, which is a sweet combination of blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry flavors. Grab it while you can — like most of Wendy’s Frosty flavors (sans the classic chocolate), this one is likely to be available for a limited time. And don’t all dads deserve a special treat?
