Revisit Turok And Other Old-School Shooters With Humble’s Retro FPS Bundle

Nightdive Studios is best known for refreshing classic shooters for the modern era, and with Humble’s Fully Loaded bundle, you can grab nine of Nightdive’s PC remasters for a mere $20, taking you straight back to the Nintendo 64 era with some of the pioneers in the first-person shooter genre.

Headlining the Fully Loaded bundle are three dinosaur-blasting games: Turok, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, and Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. All three sport enhanced graphics and gameplay improvements that make them easier to play for modern audiences, while still capturing the fast-paced arena-style shooting and blocky dinos that made them great back in the day.

The bundle also offers a bunch of other games that originated on the Nintendo 64. There’s the mind-bending Forsaken, which is a shooter that gives you full 360-degree movement, and Doom 64, which is one of the wildest entries in the Hellish FPS series–and thanks to Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, Doom 64 is now an important part of the modern Doom canon.

Like other Humble bundles, the Fully Loaded bundle offers a “pay what you want” structure. For $5, you get three games–Turok, Sin: Gold, and Blood: Fresh Supply–along with a coupon for 10% off PO’d: Definitive Edition in the Humble Store. Kick the price up to $10 and you’ll add Forsaken: Remastered, Doom 64, and Turok 2 to the list. For $15, the bundle adds Powerslave Exhumed and Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition, while $20 gets you everything from the previous tiers, plus Turok 3.

There’s also a charity tied to the bundle, so you can choose to pay more to give a little to Active Minds. The charity focuses on providing mental health awareness and education to young people ages 14 to 24.

Humble has a few other bundles you might want to check out, as well. The Metroidvania Mania bundle offers seven Metroidvania games for $14, while the Monster Hunter World & Rise bundle offers both games and their DLC for $30. For something completely different, you can grab 61 Doctor Who comics for just $25 in the Doctor Who Megabundle. And outside of Humble, Fanatical is offering a new bundle every day this week, each with a different focus, like the Build Your Own RPG Bundle and the Build Your Own Strategy bundle.
