Twizzlers Is Bringing Back a Fan-Favorite Seasonal Shape

When it comes to seasonal shapes, Twizzlers is a lot like Reese’s—it never misses. We don’t know what it is, but there’s something about a subtle design twist that makes the classic candies taste even better.

Over the years, Twizzlers has rolled out a variety of adorable seasonal shapes, each one bringing something special to the holiday table. There are the beloved Twizzlers Valentine’s hearts, which always top our list of heart-shaped treats; the tasty new Twizzlers trees this past holiday season; and, an unexpected favorite, Twizzlers Ghosts, which absolutely nailed the assignment last Halloween.

But of all the cute and quirky shapes Twizzlers has come up with, there’s one that reigns supreme, and it’s about to hop out of its seasonal retirement. 

Twizzlers Bunnies Are Back for Easter

It might still feel like we’re coming down from the holiday sugar rush, but Hershey’s is already gearing up for the next candy-filled occasion: Easter. This year, the candy company is kicking off the season early with several new and returning seasonal candies.

One of the most anticipated returns? Twizzlers Bunnies. These cherry-flavored chews are a playful twist on the traditional licorice ropes, offering the same iconic flavor fans know and love. While they closely resemble Twizzlers Nibs due to their dense, gummy form, the bunnies have a fun, festive energy that makes them perfect for Easter.

“I love the bite-sized bunnies so much,” said one reviewer. “They are so fun to eat and, in my personal opinion, taste so much better!”

These bunnies aren’t just adorable—they’re also a bit softer and easier to chew than the original Twizzlers ropes, yet still pack that familiar burst of cherry flavor. “So fun to have a favorite candy in a shape that fits the holiday and season,” another fan shared.

This year, for the first time, the Twizzlers Bunnies will be available in a new, smaller 2.1-ounce bag, making them a perfect portion for a quick snack or to fill Easter baskets. It’s a slight change from the previous 7.1-ounce bag, but many customers are looking forward to a more snackable size. The limited-edition treats will be available starting this month at retailers nationwide.

Twizzlers isn’t the only candy reserving a spot in your Easter baskets. With the return of the Twizzlers Bunnies, Hershey’s is also rolling out several new seasonal goodies, like Reese’s Peanut Butter Carrots, Kit Kat Bunnies, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with Spring Sprinkles. With all these treats on the horizon, Hershey’s has us hoping that Punxsutawney Phil goes another year without seeing his shadow.
