There’s nothing quite like starting a new year with fresh menu offerings at your favorite restaurants. And our beloved fast food joints are certainly not disappointing in 2025 so far.
Subway and Jersey Mike’s both released new sandwiches this week, while Popeyes introduced a bold wing flavor and Krispy Kreme teamed up with Pop-Tarts for a crazy good doughnut collab. Now, Taco Bell is adding to its menu with three all-new items.
Taco Bell is no stranger to expanding its menu. You might recall its Live Más Live event in early 2024, where the brand announced its planned innovations for the year—from Baja Blast Gelato to Crispy Chicken Nuggets and multiple partnerships in between. But, even that event didn’t cover all the menu launches in 2024.
So, as the Tex-Mex brand is gearing up for the second Live Más Live on Jan. 28, it’s no surprise that we’re getting new menu additions before the official list of 2025 releases is even unveiled.
Taco Bell’s January 2025 Menu
On Jan. 16, Taco Bell is adding a new flavor of its beloved Nacho Fries and introducing two all-new frozen drinks.
Since their inception in 2018, Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries, traditionally served with a side of nacho cheese, have been a fan favorite. The fast food chain knows it has lightning in a bottle with the crispy, seasoned fries and warm cheese sauce, which is why it consistently brings the offering back year after year—and, occasionally, with an all-new flavor.
After last year’s successful Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries and Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries, Taco Bell is releasing new Steak Garlic Nacho Fries for a limited time. The Mexican spice-seasoned fries are topped with marinated grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded Cheddar, nacho cheese sauce, and a new Creamy Garlic Ranch sauce that’s made from garlic and jalapeño peppers.
Taco Bell’s Steak Garlic Nacho Fries will join menus nationwide and, we can only assume, they’ll also be sold alongside the OG Nacho Fries. In 2024, Taco Bell brought Nacho Fries back in April and kept them on the menu for the longest stint in history. Maybe by bringing them back in January, we can convince Taco Bell to keep Nacho Fries on the menu all year long.
Nacho Fries aren’t the only thing getting a makeover. Taco Bell’s frozen Baja Blast drinks will have a new upgrade in Baja Dream Freezes.
Taco Bell is hopping on the dirty soda train by combining its slushy frozen Baja Blast sodas with vanilla crème for a sweet, indulgent sip. You might recall “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul making her own dirty Baja Blast by adding creamer to the Mountain Dew soda. It seems like Taco Bell took that inspiration to the next level with this frozen creamy treat.
The beverages are available in traditional Baja Blast as well as Strawberry Baja Blast for a limited time beginning Jan. 16.
Three new launches before Live Más Live even begins? Oh, yeah, we’re in for a good year of Taco Bell releases.
