I have to show you what’s inside the haunted mansion parlor. Welcome, welcome, foolish mortals. The themed lounge is inside the new Disney treasure cruise ship. I got a brief look inside. There are references to the classic ride like Madam Liota in the mirror. It’s time to respond. Send us a message from somewhere beyond. You have to pay attention to everything on the walls. The whole room transforms and tells the story. There are new nautical spooky special effects. The best is this giant fish tank. Let there be music. They weren’t there before. Ghost fish. This and other monstrosities come from ideas that never made it into the original haunted mansion but are now brought to life for the parlor. The paintings were melting. Paintings don’t stretch here, they. Rip and change. This half melted bust of Brother Roland pays tribute to Roy Crump, the imager that came up with many of these spooky ideas. He’s not looking so good anymore. Oh blinks. There’s a story here of the captain and his bride-to be, and of course this parlor has many spirits to enjoy with the spirits.
