There’s an active recall on 28 packaged bagel products sold across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. This is due to a foreign matter contamination.
Bigway, Co-op, Super A and TGP branded bagels were impacted by this recall. They were sold in retailers in the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Yukon.
The packaged bagels were sold in six-count bags and contain a “pack on” date from November 4 through November 27, 2024. The list of specific products affected is below:

These bagels are being recalled after metal was found in the salt used to make the products. This contamination has also impacted various brands of bread and baked goods sold at Costco. If you have one of the recalled bagel products with matching information above, dispose of it immediately or return it to your place of purchase for a refund.
