Sam’s Club Just Introduced the Most Unhinged Food Court Item—and It’s Free

What better way to get in the holiday mood than with festive food? If you haven’t gone out to get something holiday-inspired yet, well, Sam’s Club has us well supplied this year with its recent Member Mark Santa’s Milk and Cookies Sundae and Garrett Popcorn Shops Gingerbread Popcorn.

And if that doesn’t get you in the mood, then maybe this next bit will. The members-only retailer is now offering another merry offering: a creative play on its all-time favorite food court item, reinvented for the season.

Sam’s Club Introduces the Seasonal Holidog

Sam’s Club recently dropped a limited-time Holidog, which is exactly how it sounds: a holiday-inspired hot dog. But this isn’t just any seasonal dog. This one combines traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas food toppings served on the beloved Sam’s Club hot dog.

There are three curated combos fans can try. The Season’s Meatings is the most savory and is topped with turkey and prime rib. Then there’s the Club Mash Up, which mixes mashed potatoes and Christmas cookies for the best of both worlds. For those with a sweet tooth, there’s the Samthing Sweet, piled high with pumpkin pie and candy canes. 

While the curated offerings are great, they might not be exactly what you’re craving. Fear not, because you’re also able to build your own Holidog with a choice of one Thanksgiving topping and one Christmas topping. Remember, this is about mashing up your favorite holiday flavors together. Items like smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, Christmas cookies, and so much more are available to choose from. Complete your dogs with even more toppings like gravy, parsley, whipped cream, or cranberry sauce—all for free. That’s right, Sam’s Club is spreading the holiday cheer by handing these indulgent hot dogs out to its fans at no cost.

Before you get too excited, there’s one tiny catch. The Holidogs won’t be available at any Sam’s Club stores. Instead, the retailer is hosting three pop-ups throughout December in New York, Dallas, and Nashville, where you’ll be able to get your hands on one. You don’t even need to have a membership to enjoy them. So, if you live in or around any of the listed cities, try not to miss this—it’s bound to sell out quickly.
