When we publish a recipe on our site, you can guarantee that we pour everything we have into it. It starts with finding the right person to create the recipe—whether one of our staff members or a freelancer who’s an expert on the cuisine and topic in question. Then comes the development process, which includes testing over and over until we know it works perfectly. We also take the same care in making sure we have just the right photos to illustrate every step of the recipe, with shots taken by talented freelancers or our own Associate Visuals Director, Amanda Suarez. Only then do we put it out into the world. While we’re proud of all the recipes we publish, there are some that our audience gravitates towards more than others. We took a look at the data this year and pulled the top 15 recipes our readers clicked on the most—the ones you all kept coming back to again and again.
If there’s one thing the data can tell us, it’s that you lot love dessert—pies, puddings, bars, and a whole lot of shortbread. We’ve got just as much of a sweet tooth as you, so we get it. We’ve also been on a roll with egg recipes this year, and microwave poached eggs topped our list. There’s nothing like a good hack for a quick, delicious breakfast, right? I don’t want to give too much away, but this year’s list might just be the best yet, so keep reading for the 15 most popular Serious Eats recipes of 2024.
