Elegoo’s Latest 3D Resin Printer Is Under $300 for Black Friday

What’s better than buying a personalized gift for someone? Buying them a 3D printer so they can make their ideal gift themselves. Elegoo’s Black Friday sale lists its Mars 5 Ultra 9K MSLA Resin 3D Printer at a sale price of $270 right now. It’s a great gift for fans of Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons, so they can create their own miniatures.

The latest and most powerful resin 3D printer from Elegoo, it’s got tilt release to make printing faster, and it prints at speeds of up to 150mm/h. Its sensors can detect abnormalities and give alerts on things like insufficient resin, foreign objects, release film that needs to be replaced, and a light board temperature that’s getting too high. Its mechanical sensor and spring will also move the level up and down, so you just have to click begin on a printing job and it’ll adjust the level automatically.

An artificial intelligence camera will detect other problems, like an empty build plate and model warping, so you can be aware of problems in time to fix them. It’ll also take time-lapse photos of your projects. And you can do things like transfer files to print over Wi-Fi, and control printing remotely.

The Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra 9K Resin 3D printer also has a 9K LCD screen, a capacitive touchscreen and support for 12 languages.

Just note that it can be dangerous to use unless you keep it in a well-ventilated area.
