Based on the Peter Brown book, The Wild Robot follows ROZZUM 7134–or Roz for short–after it finds itself shipwrecked on an uninhabited island. Learning to survive and adapt to its surroundings, Roz begins to build relationships with the animals of the island and becomes an adoptive parent to an orphaned gosling. The film features a stacked cast of actors bringing each character to life, including Lupita Nyong’o as Roz, Pedro Pascal as the sly but big-hearted fox Fink, Catherine O’Hara as opossum Pinktail, and Bill Nighy as the goose Longneck.
More Blu-ray Preorders
While The Wild Robot is a great family film, there are some other notable Blu-ray preorders available for movies that you probably don’t want younger members of the family to see, including special editions of Venom: The Last Dance, Deadpool and Wolverine, and the super-limited steelbook edition of the Berserk 1997 anime series.
