PS5 Pro Preorders – Release-Day Delivery Still Available At Select Retailers

Estimated read time 3 min read

Unlike many gaming hardware preorders, the PS5 Pro has remained in stock since first going up for preorder in late September on PlayStation Direct and at major retailers on October 10. But if you want to start playing before and during the three-day weekend, you’re running out of time to get release-day delivery on November 7. As of November 4, Walmart is still offering launch-day delivery, while multiple other retailers, including Best Buy and Target, might deliver the PS5 Pro on release day. Preorders placed now from Amazon won’t arrive until Monday, November 11.

PS5 Pro Delivery Estimates as of November 4

If you want to order online and pick up the PS5 Pro at your local store, Best Buy is the only major retailer offering in-store pickup for online orders. Stock varies by location, but if you have a Best Buy near you, chances are you can preorder online today and pick up your order on Thursday morning.

The $700 PS5 Pro is a digital-only console out of the box, but it supports Sony’s $80 Disc Drive attachment that released last year alongside the PS5 Slim Digital. But heads up: the Disc Drive is sold out everywhere except for Walmart. If you prefer to place your consoles upright, you’ll need to buy the PlayStation Vertical Stand for $30. All told, you could be looking at $810 plus your local tax rate. It’s worth noting that PS5 Slim and PS5 Slim Digital owners also need to purchase the stand separately; this isn’t unique to the PS5 Pro.

Sony’s high-powered console launches alongside Chroma Indigo and Pearl DualSense Controllers from the Chroma Collection, which also includes console covers. A third model, Chroma Teal, releases in January. Also launching the same day is the Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense, and preorders have been restocked at Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
