Million Dollar Holiday Party Sliders Recipe

Estimated read time 2 min read

Classic baked ham and cheese sliders are always a crowd pleaser for a gathering. But how to translate that star for holiday season? I’ve taken inspiration from the original recipe, swapping the ham for shredded turkey and using Brie instead of Swiss cheese. Add in some crispy sweet potato fries and a spoonful of cranberry sauce and you’ve got yourself some delicious holiday party sliders! The key here is to not separate the dinner rolls before you slice them in half—it really helps speed up assembly as you’re essentially making one large, filled sandwich. Once baked, the rolls can be easily cut into portions and served.

There’s a few options when it comes to the meaty filling in these sliders. You could use shredded leftover roast turkey from a holiday meal, providing a tasty way to repurpose the scraps. Alternatively, just poach some fresh turkey breasts in broth until tender, then shred them up using forks. If you’re short on time, sliced turkey meat from the deli counter is a great substitute. If you’re not a fan of turkey, shredded or sliced ham can easily take its place–whatever sounds best to you.

Before baking, the rolls are brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The butter helps the cheese stick to the tops of the rolls and also ensures the bottom of each roll gets nicely crisped as they bake.
