Then, you were delighted when the holiday lineup dropped earlier this month, featuring two brand-new festive snacks. But if you thought that was all you would see from Little Debbie this year, you forgot about one seasonal favorite that stands out from the standard snack cakes. Why? Because it’s not actually found in the snack aisle.

That’s right, folks, Little Debbie’s one-and-only Christmas Tree Cake-inspired treat has finally made its way back to the freezer section. 

Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream Is Back 

Fans have spotted the holiday-themed Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream in stores earlier than ever and can’t wait to indulge in it once again. Sure, winter isn’t a time of year we typically associate with ice cream season, but when this festive flavor hits freezers, all bets are off.

The Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes ice cream was first released in November 2021 as a collaboration with Hudsonville Ice Cream and was the first of many snack cake-inspired pints to roll out from the brand. But many fans think this limited-edition pint is the best out of all the Little Debbie flavors.  

“This is my favorite ice cream, I literally bought 10 pints of it,” one fan raved.

The pint isn’t purely ice cream—it’s a rich blend of vanilla ice cream, pound cake pieces, and festive red frosting, studded with green sprinkles. Fans love that it’s “so creamy and well portioned” and tastes “exactly like the cakes.”

In years past, news of the flavor’s return has been met with serious excitement on social media. “Take my money” and “It’s so good!” were a few of the comments left by devoted ice cream fans. 

Unfortunately, just like the chocolate Christmas tree snack cakes that didn’t return for the season, it looks like the chocolate version of the Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream isn’t making a comeback either. But, if you’re craving a rich, chocolatey treat this holiday season, you can always indulge in Blue Bell’s new Chocolate Brownie Truffle or the latest line of ice cream candy bars instead. 

While the ice cream has traditionally been exclusive to Walmart, customers have reported seeing it at other grocers like Schnucks this year. And, in case you forgot from seasons past, this limited-time favorite sells out fast. So, don’t wait to grab a pint or two (or 10) when you spot it yourself.
