Every so often, Walmart teams up with some big names in food to release exclusive, top-tier meal collections—Gordon Ramsay, Guy Fieri, and Drew Barrymore, to name a few. But this time, the superstore is featuring a new character you might not associate as much with cooking as much as you do with eating.
That’s right—Walmart’s latest heat-and-eat line is inspired by none other than Scooby Doo, the Great Dane with an even greater appetite. “Scooby Snacks” are getting a modern makeover, turning into a line of appetizers Scooby and Shaggy wouldn’t have been able to resist.
Walmart Launches New Scooby Doo Snacks in the Freezer Aisle
Ever since the Mystery Gang set out solving cartoon crime, there have been several interpretations of what ‘Scooby Snacks’ really are.
Over the years, they’ve shown up on shelves as everything from crisp graham cracker sticks and colorful gummies to actual dog treats. Believe it or not, there’s even a cocktail called a Scooby Snack—a bright green drink made with coconut rum, melon liqueur, pineapple juice, and whipped cream.
But, now, Walmart is reinventing the “Scooby Snack” once again, and this time, it’s for those of us who crave the kind of food Scooby himself would go wild for. The new frozen food line includes five irresistible appetizers, each one designed to satisfy your most outrageous snack attacks. Here are the five new Scooby Doo-inspired dishes:
- Parmesan Puff Bites: Like a fancified pig-in-a blanket, these bites feature mini smoked sausages wrapped in dough and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
- Cheesy Taco Pockets: These crispy triangle pockets are filled with ground beef, savory taco seasonings, and a cheesy sauce.
- Nacho Chicken Bites: These bites turn chicken and Cheddar cheese into crispy, nacho-shaped patties.
- Mac and Cheese Bites: These breaded balls of mac and cheese are crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside.
- Pizzaquitos: This crispy tortilla roll-up features classic pizza flavors—tomato sauce, melty cheesy, and pepperoni.
With snack icons like Scooby and Shaggy at the forefront, this line hits the perfect combination of nostalgic feels and crave-worthy flavors—and fans are already sold. “Getting 2 of each box,” commented one excited fan. “Now THIS is a Scooby Snack I can get behind,” chimed in another.
According to an Instagram leak, the Scooby Doo-inspired snacks are exclusively available at Walmart and are priced at $6.97 per box. Plus, the line comes from the same company behind the frozen food collections for the Food Network Stars and Travis Kelce, so you know these bites are top-tier quality.
Were these the same snacks that motivated Scooby and Shaggy to participate in all the mystery-solving mischief? Probably not. But, we bet a bite of fried mac and cheese or stuffed taco pockets would be enough to have them jumping right back into the Mystery Machine.
