When you think about holiday candy, the first things that likely come to mind are Reese’s peanut butter trees, red and green M&M’s, or Hershey’s Kisses jingling “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” But Twizzlers? Probably not.
Twizzlers has been rolling out fun, seasonal shapes all year, from bunny-shaped bites at Easter to the Twizzlers ghosts that have taken over our 2024 Halloween candy buckets. Now, just in time for the holidays, Twizzlers is introducing its first-ever Christmas-themed treat, guaranteed to bring some cheer to your candy dish.
Twizzlers Launches All-New Cherry-Flavored Trees
This winter, Twizzlers is offering a festive tree-shaped version of its iconic licorice candy. The new, chewy treat is described by the brand as “bursting with bold cherry flavor,” with a bite-sized shape that’s easy to eat by the handful.
Whether the “festive evergreen” design reminds you of a decked-out Christmas tree or an enchanted winter forest, this limited-edition shape is full of holiday spirit. It’ll be the perfect addition to your gingerbread house decorating or holiday movie marathons.
If you love Twizzlers Bites or Nibs, you’ll likely also love these new tree-shaped treats just as much. They offer the same classic cherry flavor and stick-to-your-teeth chew, but with a holiday twist. And, given how popular the bunny and ghost shapes have been, we wouldn’t be surprised if these become a fast favorite—especially since fans are already showing their excitement.
“Twizzler TREES?! I am so intrigued,” commented one fan. “We are here for the Twizzler trees,” declared another.
But, that’s not the only treat Twizzlers has up its sleeve this season. In addition to the tree-shaped candy, Twizzlers is also rolling out a brand-new candy rope flavor: Merry Berry Punch Twists. The dark blue, berry-flavored twists are described as “bursting with fruity berry punch flavor and holiday cheer” and come in a king-size pack for those extra-long holiday movie marathons.
Both of these holiday Twizzlers treats are expected to hit stores and online shelves by mid-November, so keep an eye out. And if Twizzlers isn’t your go-to holiday candy, don’t worry—Hershey’s has plenty more seasonal sweets on the way to fill your stockings.
