This offset spatula will transform your giftee’s life. OK, that’s dramatic — but it transformed mine. I use it every time I bake, whether I am spreading batter, icing a cake, or separating baked goods from the side of the pan. That’s not all it’s good for, though. Its small offset design makes it the ideal tool for spreading casserole fillings, distributing spreads onto sandwiches, lifting small hors d’oeuvres from trays, and more. It’s low-stakes at $5, but high-impact in the kitchen.
Longzon 4-in-1 Knife Sharpener
This nifty $10 tool graces our list as the best affordable knife sharpener on the market. The Prime member discount just makes it all the more valuable, if you ask me. Everyone at your party probably has knives that need to be sharpened, and we found that this tool is one of the few options people are actually likely to use. Why? It’s easy. All you need to do is swipe your knives through the slots. The more you swipe, the more effective the sharpener is. It’s a no-brainer option that everyone can appreciate.

They’re dishwasher- and microwave-safe, so they’re really fuss-free. With a $30 price tag for Prime members, it’s an easy yes for any white elephant exchange.
Yeti Rambler 20-Ounce Tumbler
My whole family loves this discounted Yeti tumbler. It was supposed to be just mine, but I’ve caught others taking it for a spin. It’s because it’s the perfect all-around tumbler. At 20 ounces, it’s not too big, fitting hot coffee, hot chocolate, ice water, or other liquids easily. The mag slider lid is useful for hot or cold beverages, and it keeps my drink protected. Plus, the insulation is so reliable — everything stays hot or cold for hours.

Tramontina 12-Inch Stainless Steel Fry Pan
We love the 10-inch version of this pan, ranking it easily as our favorite value pick. The 12-inch size is no different, apart from its extra diameter. I’d prefer this size, just because it really adds to the versatility of the pan (there are few dishes you can’t cook in it). It has incredible heat retention, and was a clear favorite for its feel and performance. Since I believe everyone needs a cast iron skillet, you’d be doing heaps of folks a favor by throwing this $35 skillet in the draw.
Cucina Pro 5-Piece Pasta Maker Deluxe Set
Respectfully, I’d fight to the bitter end if this was a gift in my white elephant party. Not only does it come with a nice and sturdy hand-crank pasta maker, but it includes attachments to make different shapes, including lasagnetti, fettucini, capellini, spaghetti, or ravioli. It’s a perfect gift because folks don’t need anything else to make pasta — they just need this nifty set, and they can cook you a delicious dinner in return.
