Just two months after launch, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has received its first substantial discount in Australia. It comes, perhaps predictably, via Amazon, which is currently selling the Lenticular Edition of Dragon’s Dogma 2 for AU$69, which is down from the usual AU$99 that Amazon sells it for (the RRP is AU$124.95). That includes free shipping for all.
A couple of things to note: this Lenticular Edition doesn’t come with any extra content, though it does come with a fancy holographic effect on its cover. The standard (ie, non-holographic) version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 isn’t currently available on Amazon, and for that matter, the Xbox Series X version is also out of stock, so this deal only applies if you’re rocking a PS5.
Our Dragon’s Dogma 2 review handed down a respectable 3 and a half star rating. “Like the original game, Dragon’s Dogma 2 excels when you’re out in its open world with your pawn allies – finding hidden caves and treasure, fighting monsters, and generally losing track of time,” Jon Bailes wrote. “Also like the original, it falls short in terms of quest design, convenience, and general polish.”
Speaking of discounted RPGs, Elden Ring is currently down to AU$64 on Amazon, which is a saving of 14 percent (AU$10) on what the behemoth online outlet normally charges. So if you’ve got around AU$70 and need an RPG to while away the long cold winter nights, now’s a better time than any to bite.
